Advertise on the site

YukSaroy is a freight marketplace: terminal owners, freight forwarders, cargo owners and carriers find each other here. For brands that sell equipment, services or financing to these people, the site has five ad places. Below: where each one appears, what file is needed, what gets counted and which conditions apply.

Five places

Two of them follow the whole site, three are drawn only on a specific page.

The table is wide: scroll it sideways.

PlaceWhere it appearsSize and content
Bottom bannerAt the bottom of every public page. Visible on phones too.An 8:1 image or muted video, for example 1200x150. On a computer it is 96 pixels tall; on a phone it takes no more than 22 percent of the screen. No heading and no text are drawn: the screen holds your file only.
Left side railTo the left of every public page. Drawn only on screens wider than 1536 pixels.A tall image or muted video: the rail is narrow, so wording inside a wide image would be unreadable. A heading and one line of text are drawn under the image.
Right side railTo the right of every public page. Drawn only on screens wider than 1536 pixels.Same as the left rail.
Block on a terminal pageOn a single terminal's own page, in the right column. It does not appear in the terminal list or on the home page.An image or muted video, with a heading and one line of text under it.
Block on a listing pageOn a single listing's own page, in the right column.Same as the terminal page block.

The bottom banner and its three timings

The bottom banner is the main place we sell, because people on phones see it too. It has three timings and each one has a reason.

  • 8 seconds

    Appears after the page opens

People first see what they came for. Shown at once, the banner blends into page loading and gets closed unread.

  • 15 seconds

    Stays on screen

Enough time to take the image in. Longer than that and the banner is in the way of reading. When the time is up it leaves on its own.

  • 12 hours

Does not return after being closed

That is at most twice a day per person. A banner that comes back the same day after being closed makes people leave the site.

The close button is 44x44 pixels and is never hidden. The banner is not a modal window: it does not take focus, and search, forms and menus keep working. On pages with a form (contact, cost estimate, request) and on the cargo status page the banner is not shown at all.

A view of this banner is recorded only once it is actually on screen: during the delay it is not in the page at all.

File requirements

You send us the file, we do the placement.

  • Formats: jpg, png, webp, gif, mp4, webm. The type is checked from the file contents, not from the name: renaming the extension to send something else will not work.
  • 1.5 MB at most. A larger file is not accepted.
  • Video always plays muted. An audio track, if there is one, is never heard.
  • Instead of an animated image (gif), send mp4 or webm: at the same quality the file is several times lighter.
  • The file sits on our own server. That means the browser makes no request to an outside address, and none of your script reaches the site.
  • The wording lives inside the image, so you either give a separate file per language (uz, ru, en) or put one file on all three. That choice is yours.

What we count

We report three numbers and keep nothing else.

  • Views

Counted when the banner is actually on screen, not when it is added to the page. If a person never scrolled down, the block down there is not counted as seen.

  • Clicks

How many times the banner was clicked through to your site.

  • Closes

How many times the close button was pressed. We report this one too: if the close share is high, we shorten the display time or lengthen the quiet period.

No third-party trackers, no pixels, no Google Analytics. What stays on the server is a daily aggregated number: no IP, no session, no page address. So there is no "which page it was clicked on" report either.

Conditions we state up front

These conditions reduce the number of views. We write them down here so there is no argument later.

  • Subscribers are shown no ads

A user with a paid subscription sees no banner in any of the five places. So the view count will be lower than the site's overall traffic.

  • Side rails only on wide screens

On screens narrower than 1536 pixels they are not drawn at all: we do not squeeze the content for a banner. Anyone on a phone will not see the side rails.

  • The "Ad" label cannot be removed

It sits next to every banner. We do not pass advertising off as the site's own content.

  • After the click it is on you

The link opens in a new tab and the person lands on your site. We are not answerable for what is there.

What we do not run

Such a banner is not accepted, and is taken down if it is already running.

Tell us which place you need, which language it goes on and for how long you are planning. We will look at the file and reply.

We do not print a price on this page: we agree it by place, duration and number of languages.
